Every ant has a pair of eyes and a nose
Whether or not it is beautiful
Whether or not it misses by a hair
What does it matter?

Every human being cries in times of sadness
[And] eats to satisfy hunger
The difference can't be bigger than heaven and earth
It's nothing to be excited about

There's too much fascination, too little logic
[One plays] too many games
Only because of curiosity
What else would warrant
Such hysteria?
What would make one lose all hope?

Each and every idol is also this way
Once-revered idols
Disappear one by one
Who was once a sinner, who is God?
What kind of miracle do we await?

In the end I'm left alone
I can't be overly fastidious
In the end I face myself
And don't really approve of what I see

I'd be suspicious of anyone
Who gives me the whole world
I'm elated
Yet spring's last blossom has bloomed

Each and every person
Who is more beautiful?
Each and every person
Who is sweeter?
Each and every person
Who is easier?
It's no big deal

Every ant will remain unruffled
No matter who it brushes by
What does it matter?

Every human being will tremble with fear
On encountering someone they love
